Everything's coming up roses here today. Flowers being sold everywhere, many wearing red and many hearts decorating just about all. There were twice as many colorful balloons for sale in the Zocolo and on other streets last night. The city is in love with love.
I've been invited to join friends at a restaurant some distance away and we are evidently walking there so we're leaving at 3:20 — just 40 minutes from now. I ate very small tostada for lunch because I had only had a banana for breakfast. But I know I'll need some energy to get to our destination. We'll have to cross one famously dangerous boulevard and then it's up hill so wish me luck. I'll tell you all about it by sometime tomorrow. Muchas abrazos ahora.
