I had a quick sandwich right after class in the park with some classmates because I'm meeting others to watch the Wednesday night dancing at the Zocolo from the upstairs window at Casa de La La Abuela. No guarantee of getting one of the view windows but several of us are going a little early to give it a good try. I will also be picking up and paying for a small tapestry by Tito Mendoza in Avenida Cinco de Mayo. It is a very simple but interesting. patterned piece about 18x18".
Our poor teacher was out today because of a very sore throat and cough. The substitute worked very well and I learned a lot from her today. She speaks very firmly and rapidly so it is a minute by minute challenge — which is good for me. We played a game with questions on cards during the outdoor conversation hour. Not as much fun as the "Uno" was but I'm sure I learned a word or two. I'll post this and try to return after the dinner outing with some pics of the dancing.
