Ten people in the Spanish class today. Some very nice additions but barely room at the table. I have a hunch there will be some rearranging next week. It's always a mystery but I keep learning something and hoping some of it will stay with me.
For my photo postings today I'm returning to this last Saturday when four of us from my class took a cab out to San Agustin, Etla. It's a beautiful area not too far from where the cooking class was but to the east in steep hills. Water everywhere. A center for the arts sits in the buildings that were once a textile factory and a paper factory. The same architect who adapted the Oaxaca Textile Museum and the San Pablo did the modernizing of the grounds here. It's beyond magnificent. Water everywhere. No wonder those industries were located there. Give me mountains and water together and you have a happy Jackie. I'm going to post the photos now and perhaps return to add some comments later. The photos are mostly of the amazing ceramics collected over the last 22 years by Eric Mindling. Thank you with all my heart, Eric, for making this collection available for viewing in such a stunning location.
Have some studying to do on pronouns, soooooo. Muchos abrazos amigos. Hope you enjoy my little tour.
